1.  Natural Beauty: Nova Scotia is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including picturesque coastlines, lush forests, and charming fishing villages. Imagine a forest in the midst of the city?!

2.  Ocean Proximity: The province’s coastal location means you’re never more than thirty minutes away from the ocean. Not only that, but lakes also dotted Nova Scotia having at least 20-25% of fresh water in the word.

3.  Community Spirit: The people of Nova Scotia are known for their friendliness and strong sense of community. By and large, people in this part of Canada are the most courteous and friendly, at least in my opinion.

4.  Affordable Housing: Compared to larger Canadian cities, housing costs in Nova Scotia are generally more reasonable. While I agree it’s getting more expensive it is still the place to be with value for money for your housing.

5.  Outdoor Activities: The diverse geography of Nova Scotia offers abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation. Activities include fishing but you need to check if permit is required. Enjoys the museums, arks and theaters to mention a few are some of the activities you can visit or do.

6.  Cultural Heritage: Rich in history and cultural heritage, the province boasts vibrant festivals, museums and historical sites. The heritage has astounding facts and information waiting for you to discover.

7.  Quality Education and Healthcare: Nova Scotia benefits from Canada’s robust education and healthcare systems. Healthcare can be had but you need to apply for the services as soon as you arrive. There are a number of world-famous universities around the area.

However, it’s important to note that while there are many advantages, there are also some challenges such as a tough job market, higher taxes and a feeling of isolation. But overall, the pros of living in Nova Scotia often outweigh the cons, making it attractive place to settle down.
